At Formlabs, our passion is designing and building powerful 3D printing tools. As a Data Driven Engineer, you will work on the manufacturing team and be responsible for mining our calibration, production and logistics data to pinpoint and solve technical manufacturing problems with our various products.
In this role, you will analyze our current data and research manufacturing concerns to determine solutions and better processes. You will also work cross functionally with mechanical, optics, electrical, and materials engineering teams.
The Job:
Analyze calibration and production data to find the symptoms and resolve technical production issues
Create real-time manufacturing line performance monitoring tools
Design and deploy solutions to manufacturing challenges
Use insights gained from field and manufacturing data to improve our products
You:
5
years experience
Bachelor's degree in applicable engineering field, Mechanical, Electrical, Systems, etc.
Experience using data-science to improve manufacturing processes
Are a hands-on engineer, well versed in hardware debugging and experimental design
Have a desire to deeply understand system level interactions of complex electro-mechanical products
